Seems to come in one of those beautiful mountain hut, not immediately visible because it’s almost hidden in the shadow of the dense green of the Appennino Bolognese’s pine.

Would you want an advice before entering? Breathe deeply, and you’ll smell an intensive fresh air and nature scent, which is just little more than a memory for the people who living in the city, and then it will stimulate your appetite (if ever you’d need it!).

Upon entering, the feeling of mountain hut is confirmed by every wood structures, by the furniture, by the charming fireplace on the ground floor, by the mansard, by the little stairs connecting the floors… At this point, an instinctive question comes to your mind: “there are only Tyrolean specialties, here? Instead, the cuisine is typically Emilian! We say "qualla d'na vòlta", that means “the old school cuisine” in local dialect.

Tipical “crescentine”, pastry hand-rolled by some local housewives  …(that the clean and healthy air of Trasasso keep their body fit (yes, the hope is not entirely disinterested). And so, let’s go with beautiful and compact noodles, yellow or green at the nettles, let’s go with “tortelloni” one with fresh local “ricotta” (soft italian cheese) , and let’s go with “tortellini” those little tiny, of guaranted Bologna origin, and everything else ... how to say ...

Enjoy your meal!
